Pierre Bédrossian started his musical studies at the Cannes School of Music at age 7. He joined the oboe class and won the first prize. He continued his studies at the Nice School of Music, then in Paris with famous French oboe masters such as Guy Laroche, Jean-Pierre Arnaud and Jean-Christophe Gayot.
Orchestra musician and teacher, he played in many cities around the world such as Quebec City, Paris, Madrid, Berlin, Krakow, Prague, Minsk, Cannes, London and New York.
Born in Armenia, he keeps a real interest for the Duduk (the Armenian oboe) and improves his skills with famous Armenian masters. Member of the Navasart Orchestra/Ballet, he also played as soloist and in several ensembles, addressing a diverse repertoire ranging from traditional music to modern music to popular music. This enabled him to perform several concerts and recordings in Paris, Geneva, New York and Tunis – among others – and more recently at the Berlin Philharmonie with the Dresdner Symphoniker.
